HOW MUCH WILL I NEED?  

Good rule is for a WHOLE BIRD 1LB per person

For Turkey Meat only 1LB per 4-5 people

 

WHEN CAN I PICK UP?  

We need 3 days to process. So 3 days after you drop off. 

 

WHAT ARE YOUR HOLIDAY HOURS?  

THANKSGIVING WEEK 

Sunday 10am til 7pm

Monday and Tuesday 8am til 8pm

Wednesday 8am til 6pm

Thursday CLOSED

Friday 8am til 8pm

 

WHAT DO I DO WITH IT TIL I'M READY TO SERVE?  

Keep it chilled and take it out a few hours before it's time to eat (keep it away from the dog!) and let come to room temperature.  

 

HOW DO I REHEAT?  

Our smoked turkey is at it's best served room temperature.

Should you choose to warm, we suggest in the oven in a pan over a little water so it does not dry out. 

 

WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE BONES AND CARCASS?  

Do not give poultry bones to the dog, they splinter and could cause problems.  We have a much better idea.  Make some DELICIOUS smoked turkey stock perfect for soup or pho.  If you don't have time right away... throw the bones in a ziplock in the freezer and bring them out when you have time. Simple Broth Recipe:   Simple place the turkey carcass, garlic, vegetables (like an onion, carrots, celery) herbs (like parsley, rosemary, thyme) and peppercorns in a large, deep-bottomed pan. Add cold water to cover and bring to the boil, skim, then turn the heat down to a simmer. Continue to simmer gently for 3-4 hours, skimming as necessary, then pass the stock through a fine sieve.

Cost is $6.89/LB Cooked Weight.

 

When you pick up your turkey.. you choose what size bird you want. You pick Larger, smaller.. or "that one".

For example, if the bird weighs 12.08 pounds then the cost is $83.23

If you reserved a turkey with a $30 deposit

that will be deducted at that time.
